Concerts in the Park gets lit!
Don’t miss Fokofpolisiekar in De Waal Park on 4 March at Concerts in the Park, it’s free! Here’s what went down when The Rudimentals and Grassy Spark had everyone bopping on Sunday, 21 January and RSAWEB painted the park red!
Grassy Spark is well known for their eclectic, high-energy live performances. De Waal Park was immediately transformed into a festival ground as the boys took to the stage. The dancing could not be stopped as they played through their hits, before surprising the crowd by performing covers of everything from Bruno Mars to Beyoncé.
The Rudimentals made sure to keep the vibe up and had everyone jumping. Playing through almost two decades of hits there was something for everyone to enjoy; from dubstep to reggae and everything in between. We chatted with them just before their performance to find out more about the group and their involvement with Concerts in the Park.
The next Concerts in the Park will be a bumper edition with Fokofpolisiekar, Mr. Cat and the Jackal and The Gugulethu Tenors on 4 March. As always, the event will be completely free! If you’d like to enjoy the concert along with delicious nibbles, drinks and free WiFi then check us out on Instagram throughout this week to find out how you can score access to our VIP tent at the next Concerts in the Park.
